HIIT WORKOUT

High-intensity interval training is a type of training that involves repeated bouts of high-intensity effort followed by variety recovery times. The point of this workout is to give all-out, one hundred percent effort in intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods.
What’s the point of this short but intense workout? This program increases the body’s need for oxygen creating an oxygen shortage, which your body will gain back during those recovery periods. This process is the main reason why your body is able to burn more fat and calories than if you are working out at a regular pace.
Ways to do it:
·      Treadmill sprints
·      Jumping rope
·      Cycle sprints
·      Stairmaster
It is important to warm-up, start with a 3-minute light workout before each routine and at the end do 4-minute cardio to cool-down.
