Keep Drinking Water! It's Great For You!

My mother always told me when I was young to drink two - to - three gallons of water everyday. My first day of attempting that was bad, my teachers thought I was skipping class time by heading into the bathroom. Another thing she said that it would cleanse my body and get rid of acne, my family would always roast me about it. It wasn't until my middle school year did I know the significant of drinking gallons of water every day. Our body is made up of 80% water, therefore it is within our natural to continue drinking water throughout the day. Drinking water maintains the balance of body fluids such as digestion, body temperature, absorption, and transportation of nutrients. Now you do NOT  want to chug water all the time, but slowly consume water throughout the day.  It also makes your acne go away and make your skin healthier. One of the most common questions people ask personal trainers is how to lose that body fat that even with cardio or hours at the gym seems impossible to lose it. The first mistake people would do is to work out more hours than what their body can actually do, pushing them to their limits and sometimes this cause health problem instead of helping them.  When you work out you have to be smart and know your body. Not all of us can lift the same weight or run at the same pace, therefore, control your patience and set a goal in the long run rather than in the short run because this usually never works.  The importance of eating healthy and having a diet is commonly forgotten. How To Be Mindful Even on Holidays and "Off Days"

Happy Sunday and happy Easter to those who celebrate! Sunday’s are often used as off days as well as “cheat” days. What better day to take a day off from the gym and have your favorite snack than on a Sunday? Especially this Sunday since it is a holiday- BUT just because it is a Sunday or even a holiday, there are ways to stay healthy and be mindful as you celebrate the holiday with friends and family. You are able to celebrate without ditching your diet and still eating well! As for cheat days, I recommend a cheat meal rather than a cheat day. Your body deserves a rest and an indulgence after working so hard all week! It is not a bad thing to have something to look forward to- if your cheat meal is well planned, it will help you to stay on track all week until then.
